Hello and welcome to the Museum of Lost Retail. I am a local historian, and this blog will act as a forum for my research and documentation of malls, vintage retail, abandoned retail and local history. The results of that research and work will be the bulk of the blog as well as displaying objects from my own collection. I have traveled all over Connecticut and Massachusetts and have shot pictures and video of many places. I believe history should be available for future generations. At the alarming rate our beloved childhood retail is disappearing, I have developed a passion for documenting as much as I can while it is still here and going! The museum might be small right now, but it has a lot of heart. It is my dream that one day I will have a brick-and-mortar museum to house my pictures, ephemera, artifacts and other vintage retail related objects. Please check in soon, I’m just getting it up and running! Thank you for visiting!
